Thousands of carefree sun-worshippers pack Rio's Ipanema beach on a hot September day, some just soaking up the rays, others playing volleyball and soccer –a postcard scene framed by lush mountains. More so than any of its three other competitors bidding to host the 2016 Olympics, Rio de Janeiro is a city of extremes with a daily capacity to delight and disturb.
The "Marvellous City," as its residents never tire of calling it, was blessed with mountains, forest and beaches that can take even a seasoned traveller's breath away. The six million Cariocas, as Rio residents are known, have a warmth and passion that explodes in their fierce football rivalries and during Carnival – the annual festival that unites rich and poor in a blur of Samba and Bacchanalia.
Rio is also the nerve-centre of Brazil's fashion scene. Increasingly overshadowed as an economic and cultural hub by the southeastern city of Sao Paulo in recent years – Brazil's largest and most populous – Rio is showing signs of a revival. Its finances are in the black for the first time in years thanks to a competent state government, and the discovery of one of the world's biggest oil reserves off its coast promises a flow of investments and jobs in the coming years.

Today is a big day for the history of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, not only in the UAE, but all over the world!
27 of September 2009 - Is the beginning of the school year in the government schools in the UAE (ADEC-ABU DHABI EDUCATION COUNCIL). This is the second year of the project School-Jitsu, where students in grades 6 and 7, from 9 to 12 years old, have their school curriculum grades changed. Instead of having Physical Education classes, they will be learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Last year this project covered 14 schools. Now it has tripled for 42 schools, including 6 female schools, that totalize approximately twenty thousand students (around two thousand girls) training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
The project manager and Head Coach of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu National Team, Mr. Carlos Santos say that today is the marc of the introduction of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as the National Sport of the UAE, as he is very close to the main objective - to found a good base, training kids in the schools and make inter-school’s tournaments in order to develop he interest of the locals for the sport. And in the future we will be able to have a solid and stronger national team in all categories of the sport.
Jiu-Jitsu students develop a deep understanding of the mechanics of the human skeletal and muscular systems, so they are able to subdue an attacker, causing him no injuries. Acquiring these skills is not easy, and requires mental and physical effort from the student. The rewards however are great, and include massive improvements in strength, flexibility. Social skills as respect, discipline and common sense are improved as a result of interacting with individuals and the group as a whole.

What is Jiu-Jitsu?"Brazilian jiu-jitsu is a martial art developed with the concepts of leverage and technique at its core. Because it is easier to dominate an opponent using by using the floor to assist in balance and control , most of the training in jiu-jitsu takes place on the ground. Being able to dominate and neutralize a larger, more aggressive opponent is a hallmark of the art. This is achieve through ground control positions and leverage-maximizing technique.
What can Jiu-Jitsu do for me?

What do the Classes consist of?
The sessions consist of a strength and endurance building warm-up, followed by an explanation by the instructor of a specific technical skill. Students then grapple with others of similar skill level in controlled sparring matches. Some have described jiujitsu as “chess on a mat”. It is an incredible workout that will challenge and strengthen the practitioner both physically and mentally.
What do I need to start training?

Abu Dhabi Education Council Holds Back to School Orientation for Principals

WAM Abu Dhabi, 13th Sept. 2009 (WAM) -- Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) welcomed public school Principals to the start of the new school year at an orientation and planning session. The meeting was designed to educate Principals about the goals of ADEC's 10-Year Strategic Plan and to inform them about immediate changes taking effect in the 2009/2010 school year.
The 10-Year Strategic Plan sets out ADEC's approach towards creating the highest-quality, comprehensive system of education based on world-class standards and expertise. The strategy includes both a long-term plan that will transform the Abu Dhabi education system to one of very high quality, and a short-term plan that addresses immediate imperatives.
Speaking at the meeting, H.E. Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Director General of the ADEC, greeted the Principals and stressed the importance of partnership between ADEC and all Principals in order to achieve Abu Dhabi's goals of establishing a world-class education system in the Emirate.
"This transformation in education is essential for building the knowledge based economy Abu Dhabi is striving for, and by working together we can achieve those goals set out in our 10-year plan," he said. "ADEC will support school Principals throughout this period and is calling on Principals to be champions of this important initiative." Principals were given suggestions on how to best manage the new initiatives, such as extended school hours and the induction of new native English-speaking teachers, within their school communities. They were also provided with an overview of other elements of the Plan.
Al-Khaili stressed that the Strategic Plan was about putting education first and supporting the economic and social growth of the Emirate. He highlighted that actions stemming from the Plan, such as a greater focus on English was essential for bringing educational standards in Abu Dhabi in line with international benchmarks. He also assured Principals that this transformation was not moving the school sector away from the culture and heritage of the UAE and advised them of ADEC's plans to introduce an improved curriculum for Arabic and Islamic studies.
"By working together to provide all children in Abu Dhabi the opportunity to be the best they can be, we will provide the foundation for a skilled workforce of the future in our Emirate. This will help position Abu Dhabi as a global economic leader," he added.
The Principals in attendance expressed their appreciation for ADEC's initiative and guidance.

بإقامة نهائي خماسيات كرة القدم وتتويج الفائزين
ختام الأولمبياد الرمضاني لنادي الضباط الليلة
يسدل الليلة الستار على فعاليات عرس الأولمبياد الرمضاني الثالث عشر لنادي ضباط القوات المسلحة الذي أقيم برعاية سمو الشيخ منصور بن زايد آل نهيان نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير شؤون الرئاسة.
وشارك في الحدث الكبير ما يقرب من 3000 رياضي ورياضية يمثلون 66 جنسية من بينها 18 دولة عربية تنافسوا في ثلاث عشرة مسابقة رياضية شملت مسابقات خماسيات وسباعيات كرة القدم (للرجال والسيدات) الكرة الطائرة (سيدات) البولينج (رجال وسيدات)، الجودو (رجال وسيدات)، الكاراتيه (رجال وسيدات) الجيوجيتسو، المصارعة الحرة للهواة، كرة القدم الالكترونية (ذكور/إناث) الرماية (رجال وسيدات) المبارزة (رجال وسيدات) الشطرنج (رجال وسيدات) والملاكمة للرجال.
وتختتم فعاليات هذه المسابقات ببطولة خماسيات كرة القدم التي تقام الليلة على الصالة المغطاة بإقامة المباراة النهائية للبطولة التي تحدد طرفاها في ساعة متأخرة من مساء أمس على ضوء ما أسفرت عنه نتيجة مباراتي الدور قبل النهائي في المربع الذهبي في البطولة والتي جمعت بين المجموعة الاستشارية الهندسية مع فريق القوات البرية (ممثل الرياضة العسكرية).
فيما لعب فريق المركز الوطني للوثائق والبحوث مع فريق شرطة العاصمة (ممثل فرق القيادة العامة لشرطة أبوظبي) وسيلعب الفائزان في نهائي البطولة الليلة وصولاً لمنصة التتويج الذهبية والفوز بالجائزة الكبرى وتسبقها مباراة تحديد المركزين الثالث والرابع والميدالية البرونزية بين الفريقين الخاسرين من جولة أمس.
ويسهم في إدارة مباريات البطولة التي يشرف عليها فنياً الحكم الدولي مسلم أحمد البلوشي رئيس لجنة كرة القدم ويدير المباريات الدولي فريد علي بجانب علي حمدان، سلطان المرزوقي، نبيل النعماني، وسلطان عبدالرزاق.
ورصدت اللجنة العليا المنظمة مبلغ 400 ألف درهم كجوائز نقدية للفرق الفائزة الأوائل في مسابقة خماسيات كرة القدم حيث يحصل الفريق الأول الذهبي بجانب الكؤوس والميداليات والهدايا التذكارية على مبلغ 150 ألف درهم نقداً، وللثاني 120 ألف درهم بجانب الجوائز العينية وللثالث 75 ألف درهم والحوافز التشجيعية ولصاحب المركز الرابع مبلغ 50 ألف درهم ويحصل هداف البطولة على مبلغ 5000 درهم .
واختتمت أمس الأول بطولة الجيو جيتسو البرازيلية وذلك وسط حضور كبير تقدمه الفريق الركن (م) محمد هلال سرور الكعبي رئيس مجلس إدارة نادي ضباط القوات المسلحة رئيس اللجنة العليا للاولمبياد ومحمد بن ثعلوب الدرعي رئيس اتحاد الإمارات للمصارعة والجودو والجيو جيتسو وعبيد المنصوري المدير التنفيذي للإمارات المتقدمة للاستثمارات راعية بطولة الجيو جيتسو واللواء مصطفى الرئيسي المدير المالي للمؤسسة وراشد عبدالوهاب كلداري رئيس مجموعة راشد كلداري.
وصلاح السلومي نائب رئيس اللجنة مدير البطولة ومصبح الكعبي منسق عام البطولة وأعضاء اللجنة المنظمة للبطولة والشركات الراعية والتي ضمت 160 لاعباً من 28 دولة منهم 95 لاعباً من دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة بالإضافة إلى اللاعبين من مملكة البحرين والسعودية والكويت والعراق ومصر وسوريا والسودان وفلسطين والأردن والمغرب وتونس ولبنان وإيران وقبرص وأميركا وبريطانيا والبرازيل والفلبين وفرنسا وأيرلندا والدنمارك والسويد والبوسنة ورومانيا وسلوفانيا والمجر والبرتغال .
وقد نجح شباب الإمارات للجيو جيتسو في السيطرة على الألقاب والكؤوس الذهبية لمختلف الأوزان بفوزهم بـ 4 ميداليات ذهبية وحصيلة 14 ميدالية ملونة من أصل 24 ميدالية توزعت بين لاعبي مصر، الأردن، السويد، اليونان، زيمبابوي، روسيا والبرازيل وقد كانت الميداليات الذهبية الإماراتية في أوزان 65 كجم لمحمد القبيسي، وذهبية وزن 74 كجم لخليفة القبيسي، وذهبية وزن تحت 92 كجم حصل عليها فيصل الكتبي والذي حصل على ذهبية الوزن المفتوح بفوزه على اليوناني ديمتري تستوس الذي فاز بدوره بذهبية وزن 83 كجم على حساب لاعب الإمارات مهدي القبيسي الذي نال الفضية.
وجاء الأردني يزن تميمي ثالثاً بمشاركة الإماراتي ماجد النقبي (مكرر)، أما ذهبية وزن فوق 92 كجم فقد نالها المصري طارق مطر على حساب السويدي أمين تواتي وجاء ثالثاً الإماراتي يحيى منصور الذي شارك وهو يشكو الإصابة في الكتف لتضيع الذهبية الخامسة وحل محمد المنهالي رابعاً بالبرونزية.

All set for final day of competition

Abu Dhabi: The final matches of the men's five-a-side football event will bring the curtains down on the 13th Armed Forces Officers Club (AFOC) Ramadan Games tonight.
A total of 2,800 contestants (men and women) from 66 countries participated in 13 disciplines during the course of the games including football, volleyball, bowling, judo, karate, jiu-jitsu, wrestling, PlayStation, shooting, fencing, chess and boxing.
The semifinal round, played late yesterday, pitted Al Sayyaad against National Archives Centre and Ground Forces against Al Rabea of Algeria.
The title match apart, the match to decide the third-placed team will also be held tonight.
The winners of the men's football competition will be presented a trophy, individual gold medals and a cash prize of Dh150,000.

The second-placed team will also get a trophy, silver medals and a cash prize of Dh120,000. The third-placed team will get a trophy, bronze medals and Dh75,000 while the fourth-placed team will get a consolation prize of Dh50,000.

Contestants from the UAE won four gold medals. Mohammad Al Qubaisi won gold in the 65-kg weight class, Khalifa Al Qubaisi in the 74-kg cate-gory. Faisal Al Kutbi took gold in both the under-92-kg and the open weight classes.
Mahdi Al Qubaisi won silver for the UAE in the 83-kg weight class, losing out to Dmitry Testos of Greece. The gold in the above-92kg class went To Egypt's Tariq Mattar, who defeated Amin Tawati of Sweden in the final bout, leaving the bronze for the UAE's Yahya Mansour and Mohammad Al Minhali, who got the second bronze after placing fourth in the event.

UAE lapped up 14 medals out of the 24 at stake to stamp their class in the event.
UAE won four gold medals in different classes. Mohammed Al Qubaisi won the gold in the 65kg weight class, while Khalifa Al Qubaisi took the gold in the 74kg segment.
Faisal Al Kutbi won two gold medals—in the 92kg category and the Open weight class.
Mahdi Al Qubaisi won the silver in the 83kg category, losing out on the gold to Dmitry Testos of Greece.

وقد اشتملت البطولة على مسابقات خماسيات وسباعيات كرة القدم (للرجال والسيدات)، الكرة الطائرة (سيدات)، البولينج (رجال وسيدات)، الجودو (رجال وسيدات)، الكاراتيه (رجال وسيدات)، الجيوجيتسو، المصارعة الحرة للهواة، كرة القدم الإلكترونية (رجال وسيدات)، الرماية (رجال وسيدات)، المبارزة (رجال وسيدات)، الشطرنج (رجال وسيدات)، والملاكمة للرجال، وقد انتهت منافسات كافة الألعاب باستثناء بطولة خماسيات كرة القدم التي تختتم الليلة بلقاءات فرق المربع الذهبي والتي تكشف عن البطل والمراكز من الأول وحتى الرابع في البطولة التي شهدت مشاركة 32 فريقا من مختلف المستويات وحفلت بالعديد من المفاجآت، التي كان آخرها خروج فرق أرض الوادي والصياد للعقارات وكرم للنقليات وقبلها الفريق الإيراني (تيرجان) الذي اعتبر خاسرا لعدم اكتمال عدد اللاعبين في آخر مبارياته، وكذا الأمن والمنافذ، وابن هلال والدفاع الجوي والربيع الجزائري وشرطة العاصمة وإدارة متابعة المخالفين والأجانب. وكانت فرق المجموعة الاستشارية الهندسية والقوات البرية (ممثل الرياضة العسكرية)، والمركز الوطني للوثائق والبحوث وشرطة العاصمة (ممثل فرق القيادة العامة لشرطة أبوظبي)، قد تأهلت إلى المربع الذهبي، وخاضت مواجهتين في ساعة متأخرة من مساء أمس للكشف عن طرفي القاء النهائي ولقاء المركز الثالث. تقام مباراتا اليوم في الصالة الرياضية المغطاة بنادي ضباط القوات المسلحة، ويشرف عليها فنيا الحكم الدولي مسلم أحمد البلوشي رئيس لجنة كرة القدم ويديرها الدولي فريد علي، ومعه علي حمدان، سلطان المرزوقي، نبيل النعماني، وسلطان عبد الرزاق. يبلغ زمن كل مباراة من مباراتي الليلة 30 دقيقة على شوطين، تتخللهما 5 دقائق راحة بين الشوطين، وقد رصدت اللجنة العليا المنظمة 400 ألف درهم جوائز نقدية للفرق الأوائل في مسابقة خماسيات كرة القدم حيث يحصل الفريق الأول بجانب الكأس والميداليات والهدايا التذكارية على 150 ألف درهم، والثاني 120 ألفا، والثالث 75 ألف درهم، فيما يحصل صاحب المركز الرابع على 50 ألف درهم، ويحصل هداف البطولة على 5 آلاف درهم. من ناحية أخرى، شهدت الخيمة الرياضية مساء أمس الأول ختام بطولة الجيو جيتسو البرازيلية، وسط حضور كبير، تقدمه الفريق الركن (م) محمد هلال سرور الكعبي رئيس مجلس إدارة نادي ضباط القوات المسلحة، رئيس اللجنة العليا لبطولة نادي الضباط ومحمد بن ثعلوب الدرعي رئيس اتحاد المصارعة والجودو والجيو جيتسو وعبيد المنصوري المدير التنفيذي لشركة الإمارات المتقدمة للاستثمارات راعية بطولة الجيو جيتسو واللواء مصطفي الرئيسي المدير المالي للمؤسسة وراشد عبدالوهاب كلداري رئيس مجموعة راشد كلداري وصلاح السلومي نائب رئيس اللجنة العليا المنظمة، مدير البطولة، ومصبح الكعبي منسق عام البطولة وأعضاء اللجنة المنظمة ومندوبو الشركات الراعية. وقد تربع شباب الإمارات للجيو جيتسو على عرش اللعبة بعد أن سيطروا على معظم الألقاب، بفوزهم بـ 4 ميداليات ذهبية وحصيلة 14 ميدالية ملونة من أصل 24 ميدالية توزعت بين لاعبي مصر، الأردن، السويد، اليونان، زيمبابوي، روسيا والبرازيل. وكانت الميداليات الذهبية الإماراتية في أوزان 65 كجم لمحمد القبيسي، وذهبية وزن 74كجم لخليفة القبيسي، وذهبية وزن تحت 92 كجم وحصل عليها فيصل الكتبي والذي حصل أيضا على ذهبية الوزن المفتوح بفوزه على اليوناني ديمتري تستوس الذي فاز بدوره بذهبية وزن 83 كجم على حساب لاعب الإمارات مهدي القبيسي الذي حصل على الفضية، وجاء الأردني يزن تميمي ثالثا ومعه الإماراتي ماجد النقبي (مكرر). أما ذهبية وزن فوق 92 كجم فقد نالها المصري طارق مطر علي حساب السويدي أمين تواتي، وجاء ثالثا الإماراتي يحيى منصور الذي شارك وهو يعاني من إصابة في الكتف لتضيع الذهبية الخامسة وحل محمد المنهالي رابعا بالبرونزية. وقد شارك في منافسات اللعبة 160 لاعباً من 28 دولة منهم 95 لاعباً من الإمارات، بالإضافة إلى لاعبين من البحرين والسعودية والكويت والعراق ومصر وسوريا والسودان وفلسطين والأردن والمغرب وتونس ولبنان وإيران وقبرص وأمريكا وبريطانيا والبرازيل والفلبين وفرنسا وأيرلندا والدنمرك والسويد والبوسنة ورومانيا وسلوفانيا والمجر والبرتغال

تختتم الليلة فعاليات بطولة نادي ضباط القوات المسلحة الثالثة عشرة الرياضية الرمضانية المفتوحة، المقامة تحت رعاية سمو الشيخ منصور بن زايد آل نهيان نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير شؤون الرئاسة، والتي شهدت إقامة 13 مسابقة رياضية بمشاركة حوالي 2800 رياضي ورياضية من 66 دولة عربية وأجنبية من بينهم لاعبو 18 دولة عربية.

The Jiu-Jitsu championship of the 13th AFOC Games kicked-off Thursday night attracting a number of dignitaries, including Lt. General (Rtd) Mohammed Hilal Surour Al-Ka’abi, AFOC Board Chairman and Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee, Ibrahim Abdul Malik, Secretary General of the General Authority for Youth and Sports, Abdullah Ibrahim, Chairman of the UAE Sports Writers Committee and a large number of Jiu-Jitsu fans.
One hundred and sixty contestants from 28 countries of the world, including 95 contestants from the UAE, are participating in the event.
The other contestants come from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Sudan, Palestine, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Iran, Cyprus, the USA, Britain, Brazil, the Philippines, France, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Bosnia Herzegovina, Romania, Slovenia, Hungary and Portugal.
The first day of clashes saw 21 contestants making it to the final round to be held Friday night in the weight classes of 65kgs, 74kgs, 83kgs, 92kgs, above 92kgs and the Open Weight event.
The championship provides opportunity for UAE fighters to sharpen their skills in preparation for the UAE’s hosting of the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship in December and in preparation for the World championship in April 2010.

شهد ملعب جامعة الإمارات أمس الأول انطلاقة مباريات دور الثمانية من البطولة الرمضانية الخامسة عشرة لكرة القدم والألعاب المصاحبة التي تنظمها إدارة النوادي والأنشطة الرياضية بنادي ضباط شرطة العين وتقام منافساتها تحت رعاية سمو الشيخ حامد بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس ديوان ولي عهد أبوظبي رئيس مجلس إدارة المؤسسة العليا للمناطق الاقتصادية المتخصصة، بمشاركة فرق مجموعة فارس وشرطة العاصمة والشرطة العسكرية والزعيم وشرطة العين ودائرة القضاء ثم آداك ومنطقة العين التعليمية. وفي أولى مباراتي الدور ربع النهائي استطاع فريق دائرة القضاء أن يواصل مشواره الناجح ويتأهل إلى المربع الذهبي بعد فوزه على فريق مجموعة فارس بوميالة بهدفين مقابل هدف واحد، وانتهى الشوط الأول بتعادل الفريقين بهدف لكل منهما. سجل هدف القضاء الأول اللاعب سالم الشامسي قبل أن يدرك فراس أحمد هدف التعادل لفريقه فارس أبو ميالة في الشوط الأول، وأضاف اللاعب ناصر الشملي هدف الفوز في الشوط الثاني ليتأهل فريق دائرة القضاء إلى الدور نصف النهائي.
وفي المباراة الثانية، خسر فريق أداك على يد فريق الزعيم بهدف دون رد بعد أن انتهى الوقت الأصلي بالتعادل السلبي ليحتكم الفريقان إلى الوقت الإضافي الذي شهد هدف الفوز عن طريق اللاعب سعيد خلفان ليهدي فريقه مقعداً في المرحلة المقبلة. وعلى ضوء برنامج المربع الذهبي يلتقي مساء اليوم فريقا دائرة القضاء والزعيم على ملعب جامعة الإمارات والفائزان من مباراتي الأمس وذلك لتحديد الطرفين الصاعدين إلى المباراة النهائية التي تقام الجمعة المقبل ضمن الحفل الختامي للبطولة. وشهد المباراة أمس مباراتين، الأولى بين فريقي العين التعليمية والشرطة العسكرية، والثانية بين فريقي شرطة العين وشرطة العاصمة، الفائزين من هاتين المباراتين يكملان أضلاع المربع الذهبي. من جهة أخرى، أقيمت أمس الأول على صالة فرع نادي العين بالقطارة منافسات قوية ببطولة الجيوجيتسو والتي جرت على هامش بطولة شرطة العين الرمضانية في أوزان 70 و80 و90 وفوق 90 كجم، وانتهت المنافسة في وزن 70 كجم بفوز برونو لوبيز وتيجو فيرناندزا وفيرناندوا بالمراكز الثلاثة الأولى. وحقق ميشيل مايا المركز الأول في وزن 80 كجم تلاه مايكو ريتر في المركز الثاني وأوسكار ألفريدو الذي حل ثالثاً، وحصد كارلوس علي المرتبة الأولى في وزن 90 كجم ونال جوليو سيزر مركز الوصيف وجاء علي شاندرز كازيس في المركز الثالث. وفي مسابقة وزن فوق 90 كجم حقق إدميلسون المركز الأول وجاء أورنيلاس ثانياً وريكارد دينهو ثالثاً. من جهة أخرى، أكد كارلوس سانتوس المدير الفني لرياضة الجيوجيتسو واتحاد الإمارات للمصارعة والجودو أن رؤية اتحاد المصارعة والجودو تكمن في نشر اللعبة في المدارس والأندية الرياضية بمدينة العين، وأن هذه البطولة الرمضانية الـ 15 لكرة القدم والألعاب المصاحبة تعتبر إضافةً للمشاركين من لاعبي هذه الرياضة الذين لهم دور أساسي في نشر هذه الرياضة وسط محبي الجودو والجيوجيتسو والراغبين فيها، وأعرب عن سعادته وفخره لمشاركة لاعبي الجودو والجيوجيتسو في البطولة التي تعقد لأول مرة في مدينة العين

تقام مبارياتها لأول مرة
إثارة في منافسات الملاكمة لأولمبياد نادي الضباط
انطلقت أول من أمس منافسات بطولة الملاكمة التي تقام لأول مرة على حلبة الخيمة الرمضانية لنادي ضباط القوات المسلحة ضمن فعاليات الاولمبياد الرمضاني الثالث عشر للنادي الذي يقام برعاية سمو الشيخ منصور بن زايد آل نهيان نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير شؤون الرئاسة، وحضر الافتتاح الفريق الركن (م)محمد هلال سرور الكعبي رئيس مجلس إدارة نادي ضباط القوات المسلحة رئيس اللجنة المنظمة العليا للاولمبياد وخليفة بطي الشامسي نائب رئيس اتحاد الملاكمة رئيس لجنة الملاكمة بالبطولة وصلاح السلومي نائب رئيس اللجنة العليا مدير البطولة وعدد من أعضاء اللجنة.
وقد أسفرت نتائج التصفية الأولى من البطولة عن فوز الملاكم بدر خصيف(العين) على حميد الزحمي (أبوظبي) في وزن 60 كغم وفي نفس الوزن فاز محمد مصبح الشمري (القوات الجوية) على حميد جمعة الدوار (الفجيرة) كما فاز بلال عبد ربه (أبوظبي) وعلى سعيد سالم نصيب (الفجيرة).. وفي منافسات 64 كغم فاز نجم الحداد (الشارقة) على حسن سليمان (العين) كما فاز محمد حسن (الشارقة) على الملاكم عمر مصطفى (القوات الجوية).
شهد وزن 69 كغم منازلات قوية التحدي والإثارة والتي أسفرت عن فوز سلطان فرح الوالي (القوات الجوية) على بشار عبد الله الإسماعيلي (الفجيرة) وفي نفس الوزن فاز عبد العزيز اليعقوبي (القوات الجوية) على الملاكم طلال حمزة (الشارقة) وفاز محمد عبد الوهاب (العين) على مروان غانم المري (الفجيرة) كما فاز طاهر ناصر حسين (أبوظبي) على سامي محمد (أبوظبي)..
وفي وزن 75 كغم فاز الملاكم عبد الخالق عبد الفتاح (الفجيرة) على الملاكم عبيد خليفة الكعبي (العين) وفي وزن 81 كغم فاز الملاكم محمد إبراهيم معوض (أبوظبي) على قاسم ماهر أنور (العين) وفي ختام تصفيات أمس الأول وفي وزن 81 كغم فاز عبد الكريم ياسر محمود (أبوظبي) على غانم عبد الله (لشارقة) وتتواصل تصفيات البطولة يوميا حتى مساء يوم غد الأربعاء حيث يقام الحفل الختامي.

الكرة الإلكترونية المفتوحة تواصل فعالياتها
وسط حضور جماهيري كبير تواصلت منافسات الجولة الأولى من تصفيات الدور الثاني لمسابقة كرة القدم الإلكترونية (للفئة المفتوحة) التي تقام بالصالة المفتوحة والتي ضمت 256 مشاركا من الذين تأهلوا من الأدوار التمهيدية من أصل 800 لاعب من مختلف الجنسيات والأعمار والذين تم تقسيمهم إلى 4 مجموعات بإشراف لجنة اللعبة التي يرأسها عبد الرحمن الشامسي عضو اللجنة العليا.
حيث أقيمت مساء أمس الأول مباريات تلك المرحلة بنظام خروج المغلوب وقد تأهل8 لاعبين للأدوار النهائية وهم طه عبد الله السقان وعتيق عيسى المحيربي وجمال حمد العريمي وحسن أحمد الحمادي وخالد عجيل الجنيبي ويونس سعيد وخالد أنيس الجنيبي وصالح حسين المصعبي وقد تواصلت على الفور تصفيات الجولة الثانية التي استمرت حتى الساعات الأولى من صباح اليوم بهدف الالتزام بالجدول الزمني لختام البطولة الذي تحدد له يوم 12 الجاري حيث خصص اليوم الثالث من موعد ختام خماسيات القدم.
دور الـ 16 لخماسيات القدم يستأنف اليوم
تبدأ الليلة الثلاثاء مباريات دور الـ 16 لمسابقة خماسيات كرة الصالونات ضمن فعاليات البطولة التي شهدت مساء أمس الأول ختام مباريات الدور التمهيدي لبطولة والتي أسفرت عن تأهل 16 فريقا (الأول والثاني )في صدارة المجموعات الثماني وقد تأهل من المجموعة الأولى القوات الجوية والدفاع الجوي دون هزيمة أو تعادل ودون أن تهتز شباك مرماه، والماسي ومن المجموعة الثانية ارض الوادي للمقاولات والاستشارية الهندسية.
وصعد من الثالثة كرم للنقليات دون هزيمة أو تعادل وشؤون الأمن والمنافذ ومن الرابعة شرطة العاصمة دون هزيمة أو تعادل وفريق أف سي أبوظبي المتحدة وصيفا وتأهل من الخامسة الصياد للعقارات وسلاح التموين والنقل (أ) ومن السادسة المركز الوطني للوثائق والبحوث دون هزيمة أو تعادل برفقة إدارة متابعة المخالفين والأجانب، كذلك الحال صعد فريق القوات البرية من السابعة دون هزيمة أو تعادل ودون أن تهتز شباك مرماه والثاني فريق سيكون ومثل المجموعة الثامنة فريق الربيع الجزائري بنفس الألقاب والثاني فريق شانغريلا.
وتتواصل مساء اليوم مباريات المرحلة الثانية من تصفيات البطولة التي تلعب بطريقة خروج المغلوب والتي تتواصل يوميا حتى يوم الخميس الذي سيكون موعدا لدور الثمانية وتستريح الفرق يوم الجمعة لتستعد للدور قبل النهائي لفرق المربع الذهبي وسيكون ختام البطولة يوم الأحد 13 الجاري مسكا لبطولة عام .2009.
وكانت مباريات الجولة الختامية من الدور التمهيدي قد شهدت الفوز الصعب لفريق المركز الوطني للوثائق والبحوث على فريق إدارة متابعة المخالفين الأجانب الوصيف 4/2، وفاز فريق سيكون على الايطالية دزاين 2/1 وفاز فريق وست لايف بانسحاب فريق دائرة القضاء الذي يرتبط باللعب في كاس المؤسسات في نفس الليلة وفي ختام مباريات تلك المرحلة فز فريق الربيع الجزائري على مارشيلاغو 4/0 وإدارة مباريات الجولة الحكم الدولي فريد علي ووليد علي يوسف وسلطان المرزوقي، نبيل النعماني وسلطان محمد وفي طاولة التسجيل فارس الجنيبي.

المفاجآت تضرب بولينغ المحترفين
شهدت الجولة الختامية من تصفيات الدور التمهيدي لبطولة البولينغ لفئة المحترفين اكبر مفاجآت البطولة لهذا الموسم بخروج بطل آسيا والمصنف الأول الشاب الإماراتي حسين السويدي الذي كان في برج نحسه، فيما خرج اللاعب الدولي سعيد عبيد حمر عين متصدر بطولة صالة خليفة الدولية، فيما تصدر تلك المرحلة اللاعب العالمي القطري سعيد الهاجري في أول ظهور له في البطولة، بجانب تألق نجم بولينغ الإمارات العالمي محمد خليفة القبيسي.
كما تأهل مدرب منتخب الكويت الأميركي باترك هيلي وقد سبق تلك الكوكبة بالتأهل كابتن فريق نادي الشعب السابق لكرة القدم إبراهيم بحير، وتتواصل التصفيات الحاسمة الليلة على مستوى دور الثمانية استعدادا لتصفيات المربع الذهبي فيما يقام الحفل الختامي للبطولة مساء الخميس المقبل كما ذكر احمد خميس النيفاوي رئيس لجنة البولينغ عضو اللجنة العليا..والذي أضاف بان بطولة العام جاءت عالية المستوى والإثارة في ظل الطفرة التي يعيشها البولينغ الإماراتي.

طفرة فنية لميادين الرماية
تواصلت منافسات بطولة الرماية بنادي كركال التابع لنادي ضباط القوات المسلحة ضمن فعاليات البطولة بمشاركة العديد من أبطال الرماية الذين أشادوا بالطفرة الفنية والتقنية لميادين الرماية التي لبست حلة زاهية تطلعا للحفل الختامي للبطولة الذي يقام يوم 12 الجاري بعد أن ضمت حوالي 400 رام من مختلف المستويات والتصنيفات والتي شملت منافسات الرماية بالمسدس عيار (9 ملم) رمي الدقة لمسافة (20 مترا) لفئة الرجال، والرماية بالبندقية عيار (0 .22 ملم) لمسافة (25 مترا) من وضع الوقوف ومنافسات السيدات للرماية بالمسدس عيار (9 ملم) رمي الدقة لمسافة (15 متر)..
وقد رصدت اللجنة المنظمة مبلغ 15 آلف درهم للفائز الأول من مسابقتي الرماية بالمسدس للرجال والسيدات و12 آلف درهم لأول الرماية بالبندقية للرجال وتتدرج حتى مبلغ 3 آلاف درهم للمركز الخامس لرماية المسدس و2000 درهم لخامس البندقية.

محمد علي: دور ايجابي لنادي الضباط في نشر اللعبة
أكد محمد علي لاعب منتخب مصر لكرة الصالونات في بطولة كأس العالم بأميركا الجنوبية عام 2000 والتي فاز بها آنذاك منتخب أسبانيا لاعب فريق المجموعة الاستشارية الهندسية احد ابرز الفرق المرشحة على المنافسة لبلوغ المربع الذهبي بان نادي ضباط القوات المسلحة ساهم في نشر كرة الصالونات من خلال بطولته السنوية المميزة.
حيث تقام مسابقة لكرة الصالونات على مستوى الدوري العام في بمشاركة 12 فريقا في مصر وفاز به فريق الشرطة بجانب فرق الشركات والمؤسسات، مشيدا بمستوى البطولة وتطلعا لفوز الاستشارية بلقب البطولة دعما لجهود المهندس عدنان يوسف للفريق ومدرب الفريق محمد طه حيث يضم الفريق 6 لاعبين من المنتخب المصري العائد مؤخراً من البطولة العربية في تونس وحصل على مركز الوصيف بعد منتخب ليبيا البطل.

كما تأهل مدرب منتخب الكويت الأميركي باترك هيلي وقد سبق تلك الكوكبة بالتأهل كابتن فريق نادي الشعب السابق لكرة القدم إبراهيم بحير، وتتواصل التصفيات الحاسمة الليلة على مستوى دور الثمانية استعدادا لتصفيات المربع الذهبي فيما يقام الحفل الختامي للبطولة مساء الخميس المقبل كما ذكر احمد خميس النيفاوي رئيس لجنة البولينغ عضو اللجنة العليا..والذي أضاف بان بطولة العام جاءت عالية المستوى والإثارة في ظل الطفرة التي يعيشها البولينغ الإماراتي.

تواصلت منافسات بطولة الرماية بنادي كركال التابع لنادي ضباط القوات المسلحة ضمن فعاليات البطولة بمشاركة العديد من أبطال الرماية الذين أشادوا بالطفرة الفنية والتقنية لميادين الرماية التي لبست حلة زاهية تطلعا للحفل الختامي للبطولة الذي يقام يوم 12 الجاري بعد أن ضمت حوالي 400 رام من مختلف المستويات والتصنيفات والتي شملت منافسات الرماية بالمسدس عيار (9 ملم) رمي الدقة لمسافة (20 مترا) لفئة الرجال، والرماية بالبندقية عيار (0 .22 ملم) لمسافة (25 مترا) من وضع الوقوف ومنافسات السيدات للرماية بالمسدس عيار (9 ملم) رمي الدقة لمسافة (15 متر)..
وقد رصدت اللجنة المنظمة مبلغ 15 آلف درهم للفائز الأول من مسابقتي الرماية بالمسدس للرجال والسيدات و12 آلف درهم لأول الرماية بالبندقية للرجال وتتدرج حتى مبلغ 3 آلاف درهم للمركز الخامس لرماية المسدس و2000 درهم لخامس البندقية.

Schools get to grips with jiu jitsu

Brazilian coaches compete in the under 80kg division at a special Jiu Jitsu event held in Al Ain.
ABU DHABI // Jiu jitsu has found a home in the schools of Abu Dhabi, and as it spreads to Al Ain it seems the martial art is here to stay.
Children aged nine to 11 will be taught jiu jitsu in their physical education classes in 42 government schools this year. Eighty-one coaches have been brought in from Brazil to serve as instructors.
The Abu Dhabi Jiu Jitsu Schools Programme began last year with 14 schools in the capital. Under the watchful eye of the Abu Dhabi Education Council (Adec) and the Emirates Jiu Jitsu Team, children in grades six and seven were taught jiu jitsu as part of their sports education.
With the first year deemed a success, the size of the programme has tripled. This year, 17 schools in Al Ain will participate, including two girls schools. Of the 25 schools in Abu Dhabi, four are girls schools.
“We have had a lot of support for the programme from schools and families,” said Carlos Santos, the head coach of the Emirates Jiu Jitsu Team and the man behind the school programme.
“Jiu jitsu teaches you everything. It teaches fitness, it teaches fighting, it teaches self-defence and discipline,” Mr Santos said. “It is all about lifestyle. Being fit and healthy, and having respect for others.”
Another goal of the programme is to nurture a new generation of jiu jitsu champions, allowing the UAE to assemble a formidable national team.
A spokesman for Adec acknowledged the programme serves dual purposes.
“The competitive element is important, but is balanced by sportsmanship and fair play,” the spokesman said. “One of the main things that students learn is to respect their opponents and to win and lose graciously. These virtues will make students better and productive citizens of the future.
“In the long term, we want to identify talented students who will be groomed to become national and international champions. We are already planning to set up venues in each education zone and to run classes out of school hours for talented students.”
Last year, 25 coaches from Brazil worked in the programme, and more have been added to handle the increase in schools. The coaching team includes more than 20 world champions.
“We chose the best coaches in the world,” Mr Santos said. “We looked at each individual carefully, if they could be a good coach, if they had worked with kids before. For the best education programme you need the best coaches that is what we have.”
Pedro Lott, 28, a national Brazilian champion, has been teaching in Abu Dhabi for a year.
“It is a great challenge and I am very excited to be part of it,” he said. “We hope to create national champions for the UAE. Some of the kids are very talented. There is a lot of potential here.”
Modern jiu jitsu found its way from Japan to Brazil a little over 100 years ago, when a business associate from Japan introduced the Gracie family to judo and jiu jitsu.
The Gracie family has been credited with creating the modern form of the martial art in Brazil, which has since been known worldwide as the home of jiu jitsu.
Mr Santos has similarly grand plans for Abu Dhabi. Having arrived in the capital eight years ago, the three-time world champion has created a stronghold of jiu jitsu in the city.
Originally brought to the capital to train the Abu Dhabi Armed Forces, Mr Santos and his team of Brazilian coaches quickly caught the attention of Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed. With his backing, Mr Santos became coach of the fledgling national Emirates Jiu Jitsu Team.
“In five years time I hope to have jiu jitsu in every school in Abu Dhabi,” Mr Santos said. “We want to create a world champion UAE national team and the best way is to start teaching children when they are young.”
More than 50 of the Brazilian coaches took part in a tournament at the Al Ain Sports Club on Monday night, as part of the 15th Ramadan Football Tournament. The event was part of a drive to raise awareness of diabetes and a way to promote jiu jitsu in Al Ain.
One of the night’s winners was Michel Maia, 28, who claimed the under 80kg category. A two-time world jiu jitsu champion, Maia is considered one of the top four champions in the world.
“I want to help the children learn about jiu jitsu,” he said. “It is a wonderful sport. It has been the only thing I’ve known all my life and I’m proud children in Abu Dhabi will be learning it.”
Maia is also keen to be part of the 2010 World Professional Jiu Jitsu Cup, which will take place in Abu Dhabi next summer.
The event was another brainchild of Mr Santos.
“The main plan for the future is for Abu Dhabi to become the capital of jiu jitsu for the world,” Mr Santos said. “We want all the players of the world to come to Abu Dhabi to play jiu jitsu and improve jiu jitsu. If you don’t have competition from players from across the world, you won’t have a successful national team. You need both.
“Eventually we plan to have world headquarters in Abu Dhabi and create a university of jiu jitsu.”

This will be the first of many tournaments by Abu Dhabi Pro Jiu-jitsu around the world.
This Montreal Edition, organized by Prof. Fabio Holanda, will be highlighted bythe presence of the Emirates Bjj team and their head coach Carlos Santos.
The tournament will also be part of the 2009 Montreal MMA Expo, which has been a successful event since 2005.

ABU DHABI // Sporting heroes are being used to help spread awareness of diabetes as new research reveals that more than one in four people in the UAE have the disease or will develop the disease later in life.
Members of the UAE’s national jiu-jitsu team will take part in a sports event in Al Ain as part of a health campaign called ‘Towards a City Free of Diabetes.’ Their appearance will be part of the 15th annual Al Ain Ramadan Soccer and Various Games Tournament, due to end on Friday (11).
The programme is part of a three-year National Campaign Against Diabetes, launched earlier this year to raise awareness.
The national jiu-jitsu team had huge success at the World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Cup held in Abu Dhabi in April this year. It is hoped their presence at the Al Ain tournament will make the issue of diabetes more high profile as the government attempts to reduce the national rates of the disease.
Research in Sharjah by Friends for Diabetes found 27 per cent had either diabetes or pre-diabetes from 3,936 people screened in July and August.
In the study, a third of the subjects were nationals, of whom 24 per cent had diabetes. Among the expatriate community, often excluded from such studies, 20 per cent were found to have the disease. Official figures from the Ministry of Health show 20 per cent of UAE citizens have diabetes. However, results of a study done last year at Tawam Hospital in Al Ain put the figure closer to 30 per cent. Half of the people affected by the condition were not aware they had it, that study showed.
“In only a few years they will have complications of diabetes unless they follow up and work to prevent it,” said Dr Elham Al Amiri, deputy chair of Friends for Diabetes and a paediatric endocrinologist at Al Qassimi Hospital.
“They can have renal failure, blindness, strokes and amputated feet. The burden is on the patients themselves. They must change their lifestyle and not function as they would if they didn’t have diabetes.
“There is a burden on the health sector as well. How many billions are we going to spend on complications when we can prevent [them] at the outset?”
Another health initiative launched to tackle diabetes head on features 90 health-conscious recipes for those with the condition, created for Ramadan and beyond by nutritionists from the Imperial College of London’s Diabetes Centre. The recipes will be broadcast on television as part of the Sukar Mazbout cooking show.
“A balanced diet, in conjunction with regular exercise, is the key in the maintenance of a healthy lifestyle,” said Dr Maha Taysir Barakat, the centre’s medical and research director. The diets presented on the Sukar Mazbout television show will focus on traditional recipes geared toward the family.
The show will run daily during Ramadan on the Fatafeat TV food network, the first 24-hour, free-to-air food channel in the Middle East.
The Ramadan pattern of fasting followed by night-time feasting can be harmful to those with diabetes because a sharp increase in blood sugar can trigger a diabetic attack.
However, Azza Najeeb, 47, a gynaecologist in Dubai, is a diabetic and has been fasting at Ramadan for almost 40 years.
She said it was “extremely possible”, even with the most severe forms of the disease, to fast.
Dr Najeeb, who has three children, discovered she was diabetic when she was pregnant with her first child.
At first, she controlled the condition with her diet but now she injects insulin every day.
Before Ramadan every year, she sees a doctor for a check-up and to receive advice, and during the fasting days she regularly checks her blood sugar.

Emirates all set to teach Jiu-Jitsu to 20,000 kids
On September 27, when No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu dynamos take to the mats in pursuit of medals in Barcelona, Spain, around 4 thousand miles from there other teachers will be writing, the history of the sport with a golden pen.
It’s that Abu Dhabi, the land of oil and namesake for the anxiously-awaited no-gi tournament, is getting ready for an important turning point in Jiu-Jitsu history. Carlos Alberto Santos elaborates:
“The 27th will be a landmark, we’re already counting down. There will be more than 20 thousand kids in 42 public schools practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu,” explains the teacher responsible for the project dubbed School-Jitsu.
Carlao now heads a team of 81 Brazilians, who are changing the face of daily life in the capital of the Arab Emirates. “Every day is fun. Putting several powerful people together always yields something new. But the folks surprised me, as they all gelled as a team so quickly, even the ten girls, which was a complicating factor. Technically, I’ll highlight Michel Maia and Jose “Cientista” Junior, who arrived from Araruama with a silly look on his face but is really tough,” Carlao remarks.
The leader of Emirates Team goes further in explaining the new routine and peculiar Brazilian colony: “The teachers were staying at a hotel and this week they’ll move to their new homes. They’ll also get to know the schools where they will work, sometimes in pairs. That’s when we’ll see who is who, since kids don’t give you a break,” he chides.
“This year we’ll also have for the first time a student championship along the lines of the Brazilian Team Nationals, with each school sending five representatives. I hope all goes well so that next year doors will open for more professionals here in Abu Dhabi. Once again I thank the boss, Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for the opportunity he granted Jiu-Jitsu,” Carlao says in finishing.

No dia 27 de setembro, quando os craques do Jiu-Jitsu sem kimono estiverem lutando por medalhas em Barcelona, na Espanha, a cerca de 4 mil milhas de lá outros professores também vão estar escrevendo, com caneta de ouro, a história do esporte.
É que Abu Dhabi, a terra do petróleo que dá nome ao aguardado torneio sem kimono, prepara-se para um passo importante para a história do Jiu-Jitsu. Conta, Carlos Alberto Santos:
“O dia 27 será um marco, já estamos na contagem regressiva. Serão mais de 20 mil crianças, em 42 colégios públicos, treinando o Jiu-Jitsu brasileiro”, detalha o professor responsável pelo projeto, chamado de School-Jitsu.
Carlão agora lidera uma equipe de 81 brasileiros, que estão mudando o dia-a-dia da capital dos Emirados Árabes. “Cada dia é uma diversão, né. Vários poderosos juntos sempre rendem coisa nova. Mas o pessoal me surpreendeu, pois se enturmou muito rapidamente. Inclusive as dez meninas, o que era um complicador. Tecnicamente, destaco o Michel Maia e o José Junior “Cientista”, que chegou de Araruama com carinha de bobo mas que é muito duro”, comenta Carlão.
O líder do Emirates Team narra ainda a rotina da nova e peculiar colônia de brasileiros: “Os professores estavam morando no hotel e esta semana vão para suas novas casas. Também vão conhecer os colégios onde vão trabalhar, por vezes em duplas. Ali vamos ver quem é quem, pois a criançada não dá moleza”, brinca.
“Este ano também teremos pela primeira vez um campeonato estudantil nos moldes do Brasileiro de Equipes, com cada escola enviando cinco representantes. Espero que tudo dê certo para ano que vem as portas se abrirem para novos profissionais em Abu Dhabi. The leader of Emirates Team goes further in explaining the new routine and peculiar Brazilian colony: “The teachers were staying at a hotel and this week they’ll move to their new homes. They’ll also get to know the schools where they will work, sometimes in pairs. That’s when we’ll see who is who, since kids don’t give you a break,” he chides.
“This year we’ll also have for the first time a student championship along the lines of the Brazilian Team Nationals, with each school sending five representatives. I hope all goes well so that next year doors will open for more professionals here in Abu Dhabi. Once again I thank the boss, Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for the opportunity he granted Jiu-Jitsu,” Carlao says in finishing.

No dia 27 de setembro, quando os craques do Jiu-Jitsu sem kimono estiverem lutando por medalhas em Barcelona, na Espanha, a cerca de 4 mil milhas de lá outros professores também vão estar escrevendo, com caneta de ouro, a história do esporte.
É que Abu Dhabi, a terra do petróleo que dá nome ao aguardado torneio sem kimono, prepara-se para um passo importante para a história do Jiu-Jitsu. Conta, Carlos Alberto Santos:
“O dia 27 será um marco, já estamos na contagem regressiva. Serão mais de 20 mil crianças, em 42 colégios públicos, treinando o Jiu-Jitsu brasileiro”, detalha o professor responsável pelo projeto, chamado de School-Jitsu.
Carlão agora lidera uma equipe de 81 brasileiros, que estão mudando o dia-a-dia da capital dos Emirados Árabes. “Cada dia é uma diversão, né. Vários poderosos juntos sempre rendem coisa nova. Mas o pessoal me surpreendeu, pois se enturmou muito rapidamente. Inclusive as dez meninas, o que era um complicador. Tecnicamente, destaco o Michel Maia e o José Junior “Cientista”, que chegou de Araruama com carinha de bobo mas que é muito duro”, comenta Carlão.
O líder do Emirates Team narra ainda a rotina da nova e peculiar colônia de brasileiros: “Os professores estavam morando no hotel e esta semana vão para suas novas casas. Também vão conhecer os colégios onde vão trabalhar, por vezes em duplas. Ali vamos ver quem é quem, pois a criançada não dá moleza”, brinca.
“Este ano também teremos pela primeira vez um campeonato estudantil nos moldes do Brasileiro de Equipes, com cada escola enviando cinco representantes. Espero que tudo dê certo para ano que vem as portas se abrirem para novos profissionais em Abu Dhabi. Mais uma vez agradeço ao patrão, o Xeque Mohamad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, pela oportunidade dada ao Jiu-Jitsu”, encerra Carlão.
