Rules and Regulation
¨ Any competitor who displays unsportsmanlike conduct before, during, or after the match, will be disqualified and forfeit the registration fee;
¨ No Stalling: Referee will issue one negative point for the 1st offense of stalling (i.e. backing out of the guard without engaging, no activity, and running out of the ring to avoid takedown or submission attempts). A 2nd offense will result in a 2 Points deduction. A 3rd offense will result in a disqualification.
¨ No bent knee locks, biceps locks, cervical, or heel hooks are permitted. Use of these techniques will cause disqualification. Rules will be explained right before the tournament.

Throws, takedowns, knee on the belly and sweeps – 2 points
Passing the guard – 3 points
Mount/taking the back – 4 points

Kids (BJJ only):
All the matches will be the closest weight, age & belt
Miscellaneous Information
¨ All adult competitors will receive a Tournament T-Shirt.
¨ The top three schools BJJ receive awards;
¨ The top three schools kids division receive awards;
¨ Award for the fastest submission.
¨ One 32’ LCD TV will be raffled between all the adult winners.
¨ PRO Black Belt division for 173 lbs and under ($1500 for the winner)
