Jordanian king arrives in Brazil for first visit
Abdullah II arrives in Brasília today, where he is going to meet with president Lula and sign agreements. Tomorrow he will be in São Paulo to open the Brazil-Jordan Business Forum.
São Paulo – King Abdullah II arrives in Brazil today (23) for the first visit of a Jordanian head of state to the country. In Brasília, he should meet with Brazilian president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, at Planalto Palace, the seat of the government of Brazil, and sign bilateral agreements. "It is a first line state visit with political and commercial characteristics. The idea is to make the ties closer and sign as many agreements as possible
The King should be in Brazil accompanied by queen Rania, other members of the royal family and of the government. In Brasília he is also going to participate in a luncheon at the Itamaraty, should visit the National Congress and see a jiu-jitsu presentation.
