EMIRATESJIUJITSU.COM
Dear BJJ Athletes,
We are proud to announce the roll out of the 1st-ever BJJ website www.emiratesjiujitsu.com for the United Arab Emirates dedicated to the Emirates Team for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It took a while for it to happen, 4 months to be exact, but it happened nonetheless. Through the support of Carlos Santos and his team of BJJ instructors, we have managed to create a website that will enhance the team's reputation in the region and also develop a team atmosphere that is somewhat lacking.
It all started with a simple discussion with Carlos about what the Emirates Team was missing, and we concluded that it's missing a web portal to the rest of the world. How will people know our team exists when we don't even have a website? How are BJJ enthusiasts who are visiting the UAE know where to go train? The simple and most efficient way of communicating is through owning a website which represents everything about you and your operations as a team.
Through this website, we will strive to create a community of BJJ athletes that train and compete in the United Arab Emirates, and also help raise awareness of the sport in the whole country. Keep in mind that the website will be evolving continuously through time, with additional features, graphics, etc., and that won't happen without everyone's support.
We will be working the same way other world-renowned teams in the world work, and that is through having different branches of Emirates Jiu-Jitsu throughout the Emirates (example: Emirates Jiu-Jitsu "Abu Dhabi", Emirates Jiu-Jitsu "Dubai"). The spirit of competition is embedded in all of you and the best way to get yourself heard is through making a name for yourself and your team to the rest of the world.
The official inauguration will be announced at a later date, but for the time being, enjoy what the website offers and make sure to check it out regularly for any news updates and exclusive features.
We are looking forward to making this website a huge success through everyone's support and blessings. I hope that the inauguration of this website will be a success, and it will be around for many years to come.
Regards,
Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Team
