May is a busy month for MAIA.
Demian Maia will be in New Jersey, May 5th competing in ADCC 2007. After that
its onto Ohio for the Gracie Fight Championships on the 19th where Maia will face a tough opponent in Ryan Stout.
Then, from the 20th till the 24th Demian will be in Chicago where he will be available for group classes and private classes. If you are interested in training with Maia please contact Mark Turner at markturner@tmail.com
Felipe Costa in Hermosillo Mexico
2 times world champion, Felipe Costa, will be in Hermosillo Mexico running the PTP, This is the third time that Felipe visit Hermosillo, but the first since Brasa Mexico open it doors last year.
Felipe will be first in Phoenix Arizona and later he is going to Mexico. the date of the seminar in Hermosillo with the champion is on june 6th to june 11

Felipe Costa and Rodrigo 'Comprido' do good in Sweden
World Champions Comprido and Felipe Costa recently did some social work in Gotland, Sweden. The pair worked on STAPLE, a program of assisteng and reforming troubled youth.
Comprido's purple beltMikale Nillson is the head of the program and he introduced Jiu-Jitsu to the group as a physical activity. Both Champions spent some time teaching the youth the basics of BJJ and self-defense. Comrpido wwas stoked: 'Any time you can use your talents and help others is special. It is even better when you can use BJJ!'
