Comprido attacks the arm with a Kimura!
The 2007 Pan-Ams started out yesterday at the Cal State Domingues Hills in Carson, Ca. with the No-Gi action. Stars from the past/present made their point that they are still a force as Saulo Ribeiro, Marcio Feitosa, Rodrigo 'Comprido and Flavio 'Cachorrinho' all won their divisions while mostly defeating some of the new up and coming 'kids'.
Saulo won his final over young star Romulo Barral while Feitosa defeated a 'hot' Lucas Gomes in an action packed match. 'Comprido' submitted Jose Correia and Flavio 'Cachorrinho', in his return to competition defeated an in form Rafael Lovato Jr to take the gold. Comprido shared the Gold with teammate 'Cavaca' and 'Cachorrinho' with his teammate 'Titi'
All of them will return Sunday for the Gi part, when they wil be joined by other top stars like Marcelo Garcia, Bibiano fernandes, Rubens 'Cobrinha', Fredson Paixao, Mario Reis, Robson Moura and otehrs. Today the Blue Belt division and many of the masters and seniors go at it.
