Jessie Robinson Sports services LLC is proud to announce the forthcoming Global Impact Boxing Championships to be hosted at the Sheikh Rashid Hall, Dubai World Trade Center on the 8th February 2008. This will constitute the biggest event of its kind to hit Dubai and will go a long way to establish the sport of boxing in the region.
Headlining the evening’s bouts will be former Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight Champion of the World Michael Moorer who is currently ranked 6th in the world and UAE National Eisa Al Dah, the regions only professional boxer. These bouts are sure to draw both International and local attention on a massive scale.
Michael Moorer will be participating in the event with an impressive record of 56 fights, 51 wins, 39 by knockout and only one draw. His participation will not only draw attention from the local press and patrons but will serve to establish the UAE as a venue for International Boxing for the future, which is particularly true in the light of the upcoming Dubai Sports City project.
UAE National Eisa Al Dah, the GCC’s only registered professional boxer will be contesting his second professional bout, following his first round knockout win last year. After a hugely successful amateur career Eisa took the inevitable step up to the professional ranks and is currently looking forward to improving his record to 2 wins in 2 fights. Eisa has already gained the support of the local population and will go a long way to encourage the development of local talent within the professional sport of Boxing.
