Athletes from 20 countries confirmed
The first time taking place outside of Rio de Janeiro, the 2007 Jiu-Jitsu World Championship is already an international success. This is because with registration now done online, representatives from various countries have already guaranteed their participation in the competition to occur from the 23rd to 26th of August, in the California State University Long Beach gymnasium, in Long Beach, California. According to the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation, there all ready at least 20 nationalities included in the list.

It is worth noting that registration for the 2007 Jiu-Jitsu World Championship will be open until midnight August 16. Those to register by Sunday pay a fee of US$ 105.
