JUCAO PLAY JIU-JITSU:

Jucão: 'I just did plain old Jiu-Jitsu'BTT fighter comments on the victory at Showfight 5 and Margarida's performance
Roan Carneiro, Jucão, woke up early in São Paulo today with a Japanese neck to hang, metaphorically, on the living room wall. In the ninth victory of his career, Jucão came out on top in the international fight of Showfight 5 by submitting Yoshitomo Watanabe with an arm triangle, still in the first round.

"I didn't know very much about him, so I didn't take any risks. I played my standard Jiu-Jitsu and took advantage of the opportunity when it presented itself and sunk the katagatami (arm triangle). It was good, yet another experience", he said.

Jucão went on to sum up Margarida's performance with one word: "Overcoming". He explains: "Margarida defied all odds. If it were in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, he would have broken the bank", he recalls, to later analyze the fight. "He showed a lot of maturity in the ring and put Macaco in risky situations several times. He didn't take him down but traded punches well standing, got Macaco with a lot of jabs. In other words, he bankrupted the casino!"
