Brasa Team Going to Sweden
Three representatives of Brasa Team are leaving for Sweden on OCtober 11th. The trio Leo & Ricardo Vieira & Chico Mendes are going to spend 15 dais in that Country. Chico goes to Malmo and the Vieira brothers will be in Stockholm.

Besides teaching and traing they will help organize the Scandinavian Open 2006, a 4th year Jiu-Jitsu event that goes down on OCtober 21 & 22. evento de Jiu Jitsu, que será em Malmö nos dias 21 e 22 de Outubro. The vent draws a large crowd of fighters and this year organizers are expecting a arecord number of competitiors.

California Classic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Championships
The California Classic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Championships will take place on November 4th at the San Bernardino High School. The event is giving away $20,000 in prizes for all winning competitors, making it a must compete!

International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Submission Grappling Tournament from the promoter
Invitation to the 4th California Open Nov, 18th and 19th 2006

Dear Friends:

I would like to cordially you and your academy to attend and compete in the
4th California Open International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Submission Grappling Tournament to be held in San-Cremente California at NO LIMITS Mixed Martial Arts & Fitness. The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, November 18th and 19, 2006. Over 400 athletes will compete in the white, blue, purple, brown, black, and professional black belt divisions.This year there will only be two weight classes for the black belt division.174 & below and 175 & up. the winner of each weight class will receive $1,000 and second place will receive $200 and a Medal. On Sunday 19 the winner of the no gi professional open division will receive $1000, $200 and a Medal will be awarded to second place. Athletes from all over the world including Brazil, Canada, Japan, and Europe are expected to come.

This year the gym will have four mats to speed up the pace of competition. Divisions for children with GI will start at 9:00 am in the morning on Saturday. Followed by men's white belt, men's blue belt and so on. Super Fights will last 10 minutes featuring some great athletes. Sunday will be the No-GI matches and they will go in the same order. This year we will have the Paypal registration form online again as well as printable registration forms to fax in. We are working on the Paypal system to simplify registration and bracket issues that we experienced last year. We expect the system to work perfectly this year and encourage registration online.

Weigh-ins will be held on the day of the competition before your scheduled match. Weight for gi competition is with gi on. I hope all take advantage of this opportunity to compete in the 4th year of this event in NO LIMITS San-Cremente Ca.

• Gameness will be giving away gameness gear to many of the winners of the advanced divisions as well as training CD’s sets from Olympian and Jiu Jitsu super athlete, Rhadi Furguson.
