1 YEAR WITHOUT CARLSON GRACIE:

One year without Carlson

Mass to be held next Sunday

Today, February 1st, the world of Jiu-Jitsu, the friends from Copacabana and the fans all accross the globe lament the anniversary of one year of the death of Carlson Gracie. “It was a tough year to talk about and work with Jiu-Jitsu, fighting, techniques and all that. In one year, Carlson was much missed, on each day, each our, and each minute. Not only by me and his closest friends, but by the entire world of fighting,” says friend Osvaldo Paquetá, inviting everyone to the mass that will be held in Carlson’s honor next Sunday in Rio de Janeiro.

The mass will take place at the same church that gathered more than 500 fans, friends and athletes last February 8, seven days after Carlson passed away.
