European JJ Champ team results
Brazil dominates the black belt

The fourth edition of the European JJ Championship took place this weekend, in Lisbon, Portugal. Despite Brazil’s dominance of black and brown belt categories, European teams managed to shine on the lower levels. The Finnish team took home the purple lightweight title and the Polish celebrated the first place among the blue heavyweight and lightweight.

At the individual competition, the big crown went to Brazilian Braulio Carcara Estima. He defeated world champion Xande Ribeiro to grab the open class black belt title. Check out the complete results:
