PAN-AMERICAN 2007:



Over 1,700 signed up for Jiu-Jitsu Pan-American 2007
The competition takes place next Sunday, in Los Angeles

The Pan-American Jiu-Jitsu Championship can already be considered a success. With registration now closed, the IBJJF (International Jiu-Jitsu Federation) counts over 1,700 competitors, who will occupy the fight areas at California State University Dominguez Hills, Carson (Los Angeles), from Friday to Sunday, April 1st.

Among those signed up, there are such well-known black belts as Marcelinho Garcia, Eduardo Telles, Ruben Chales Cobrinha, Saulo Ribeiro, Rafael Lovato, Bibiano Fernandes, Marcio Feitosa, among others.

The pre-agenda has already been defined: on Friday, the 30th, the Jiu-Jitsu No-gi Pan-American for blue, purple, brown and black belt athletes will take place, as well and the Pan-American in-the-gi for white belts.
Saturday will be the turn for the in-the-gi Pan for the blue belt adults, masters and seniors, and the masters and seniors categories for the purple and brown belts.

On Sunday, the juvenile blue belts, adult purples, browns and blacks and the master and senior black belts step on the mat.
