EMIRATES BJJ TEAM MEMBER HEADED FOR INTERNATIONAL MASTER & SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
Head Coach for the Emirates BJJ Team, Carlão Santos, and Coaches Olavo Abreu & Suyan Queiroz announce Emirates BJJ Team member, Bruce Tafoya, will be competing in the International Master & Senior Jiu Jitsu Championships to be held on July 7th & 8th at the Tijuca Tenis Clube gymnasium, in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Bruce will be competing in the Middle Weight and Open Weight categories as a Brown Belt.
Bruce has been performing referee duties for the Emirates Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Cup & Abu Dhabi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Cup which is held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Also, Bruce assists Carlão, Olavo, & Suyan in training and coaching the Emirates BJJ Team – Dubai team members. He is currently training with his coaches and teammates in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in preparation for the upcoming tournament.
