What Stops You from Starting Brazilian Jiujitsu?
Beginning any martial art can be an intimidating experience, especially one as physical and technical as Brazilian Jiujitsu. Many prospective students have been discouraged by an overwhelming first class. Constantly getting manhandled and tapped out can be an intimidating experience and cause many to never return to class. In some schools, new students never get a change to learn and progress slowly but are just thrown to the “wolves”; fodder for blue and purple belts. In an effort to create the optimal training environment, American Top Team Vero Beach will be offering beginner’s class on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. It will be limited to students with up to 4 months of jiujitsu experience. New students will be able to learn the basics and fundamentals of jiujitsu and practice with other students of comparable skill level. Classes start next week, so come by and check out the academy.
