North Shore of Oahu - The New JJ Meccah from J.D.

It must be something about the North shore and Brazilian Jiu-Juitsu stars, maybe the water? Anyways we've had Mundial Champion Xande Ribeiro here for a couple weeks then Kron Gracie showed up for New years, and now his uncle 'legendary black belt' Royler Gracie is here!!!

Let me tell you to see Kai Garcia, Xande, Royler and Kron walk down the
street is a real sight.... Royler showed up straight from Japan after his fight in K1 in japan on new years eve, he looked in great shape! Hopefully will get some training in between the boys going surfing, but will have to see.

Today is Xande's last day here so I'm sure there will be a little training session in the morning I'm gonna go down to the 'Boars Nest' early and camp out till the boys hit the mat! ;)

Aloha, JD

P.S. It was only 12-15ft today on the North Shore, I know Kid would have been
charging!!

Gracie Magazine Elects Best of the year

Gracie Magazine elected the best of the year in Jiu-Jitsu, Submission Wrestling and MMA. The honor went to Xande Ribeiro in BJJ, Marcelo Garcia in Sub Wrestling and Mirko Cro Cop for MMA.

Congratulations to all and we hope to see you all star in '07 including ADCC (Of course Mirko cannot use his punches nad kicks : ) )
