Yeah, yeah, yeah . . . the North Shore boys have everything. I am jealous of hearing all the stuff. As if location, surf ad climate is not enough then here the latest:
'Kid, Tonight (Thursday) Gracie North Shore Jiu-Jitsu had one of the best starts to 2007 you could ever ask for . . . As class was starting, legendary Professor Royler Gracie showed up and taught class as a favor for Instructors Kai Garcia and Marcelo 'Dentinho'. The positions he showed were really awesome, they would improve anyone's game from white belt to black belt! What really impressed me was the small details that he pointed out. He also took a few minutes to take questions from everyone and the gang was fired up afterwards that's for sure!
It was really an honor to learn from someone like Royler and we all are thankfull!

Rumors from New York
Not yet confirmed but solid rumors from New York have the return of one . . . Ricardo 'Cachorrao' Almeida to the fight scene! Almeida abruptly abandoned a sucessful MMA career in the middle of a 2 1/2 year, 6 fight winning streak to concentrate on his school transforming it into a huge sucess and model for other BJJ schools.
Proving that you can take the dog out of the fight but can't take the fight out of the 'Dog' as the BIG DOG is apparently heading back! More on this as it develops.
May be Cachorrao can be persuaded to return to ADCC as well ! ? ! ?
European of BJJ Just Around the corner
The 2007 European BJJ Tournament is just aroudn the corner. The event takes place on January 27th & 28th, 2007 at the 'Complexo Municipal Esportivo do Casal Vistoso', Rua João silva, Lisbon, Portugal.
Many of BJJ top names will compete including most of the Europeans best.
